Overview

Senior Projectcontroller is the financial hub in our complex subsidy projects, supporting innovation, sustainability, and regional development across domestic and international frameworks such as Just Transition Fund Greenwise and the Wad Gaat Om.

Responsibilities

• Advising senior leadership and project leaders on financial scenarios, risks, and compliance.
• Instructing and monitoring governance, processes, and financial frameworks within project steering.
• Uniforming processes and strengthening project control at the outset.
• Monitoring budgets and signaling bottlenecks.
• Coaching and guiding colleague project controllers.
• Maintaining internal and external networks and following subsidy legislation.
• Actively contributing to the professionalization of project control within NHL Stenden.

Qualifications

• Completed HBO or WO degree in (business) economics or financial direction.
• Preferably background in accountancy or as business controller.
• Experience with subsidy trajectories from application to accountability, and preferably experience in steering and risk management.
• Knowledge of project control and financial processes.
• Good command of English in word and written.
• Strong communication skills and advisory power.
• Analytical, proactive, and firm in position, but also a real connector.
• Experience in coaching colleagues is a pre.
• Affinity with innovation and regional development.

Benefits

• Salary up to €7 534,61 gross per month (scale 12 cao-hbo) plus 8 % holiday pay and 8,3 % year-end bonus.
